Leaking Pipes
When there is a damaged area of your pipeline, caused by corrosion or other environmental factors, you are at risk for a leak. While a small leak in your pipe may seem harmless, these leaks can grow and cause further damage to your property. Environmental Pipe Cleaning has the technology and experience to locate the source of your leaking pipe and find an accurate solution.
Signs You May Have a Leaking Pipe
Because your pipes are underground, it can be difficult to tell when you have a leak. Here are some common symptoms to look out for:
- Low water pressure – this could be due to a few things, including a clog or incorrect sizing of pipes. However, a leak somewhere in your line is often the culprit of low water pressure and a quick inspection by Environmental will put your mind at ease.
- Mold or mildew on walls – mold that is appearing on walls around your building that are not close to a water source, such as a shower, is a clear indicator that you may have a leak. Moisture that is emitted from leaking pipes will cause mold growth that can damage your building and become a health risk to your tenants and customers.
- Musty smell – stagnant water starts to smell musty. If you are noticing this around your house even after cleaning, it may be time to contact a professional.
- Unusually high water bills – if your water bills have suddenly jumped, it may be because you have a leak that is causing you to waste water.
Environmental’s Services
When it comes to leaks, our team uses industry-leading technology to locate the leak and repair it quickly. We are proud to offer trenchless services to all of our customers, meaning no digging on your property.
CCTV Inspection
The best way to solve a leak is to first pinpoint the exact size and location. Environmental Pipe Cleaning uses mini and mainline cameras to perform a detailed inspection of your lines. We attach our CCTV camera to a camera tractor that we will insert into your pipes through an existing access point. This camera is worked throughout your system by one of our trained technicians so that we can analyze the footage and give you an accurate diagnosis.
CIPP Lining
CIPP lining, or cured-in-place-pipe lining, is a trenchless service we offer to repair minor leaks in your pipes. We use an inflatable tube, saturated in resin, that we insert into your pipes and position in the damaged space. Our team then inflates this tube so that the entire damaged area is covered with resin. Once the equipment is removed and the resin cures, you will be left with a water-tight seal.
Pipe Bursting
Pipe bursting is another trenchless service we offer to repair severely damaged areas of your pipes. This process involves inserting a bursting head into your lines to break apart the damaged area and pull in a new section all at once.
If you suspect you have a leaking pipe, Environmental Pipe Cleaning is here to diagnose and repair your lines. Call us today to learn more about our services and how we can help you.
